My TRUE Story! I was in the U.S. Army as a Finance and Accounting Specialist for four years before separating from the Army with a Honorable discharge in 1985. Right away I was hired at First National Bank of Omaha, NE. for eleven years in the Visa and Mastercard bank fraud department in many different capacities where I learned a lot and loved it. I relocated to Atlanta, GA. in 1996. Within the last twelve years in Atlanta I worked in the fraud departments at Wachovia Bank and Bank of America where I learned a lot as well. 

 

Fortunately my PASSION for helping identity theft victims drove me to become a Certified Identity Theft Investigator and inform all on how not to become a victim. Therefore AKC-IDTHEFT had finally manifested, after being in the planning stage for over a year. The employee was not authorized to take home the data that was stolen. The data contained indentifying information including names, social security numbers, and dates of birth for up to 26.5 million veterans and some spouses.

The second time a financial institutions was shipping personal data security storage devices and one of the storage devices came up missing. The third time a major credit card company's data base in Atlanta, GA. was breached by hackers. Counterfeit cards were created from the stolen data and 9million dollars was extracted from ATM's all around the world within 30 minutes.

Hopefully this explains 100% of my passion for helping you the consumer to get protected and educating all size businesses on how to properly protect data security information within FTC Identity Theft Red Flags Rules guidelines.
